Casting Call Saturday | The Vincent Boys

The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines
Amazon + Good Reads
"Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it's his cousin Beau who catches Ashton's eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she's ever seen, and even though he's dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.

Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer's girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That's why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he's been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer's absence, Beau knows he should say no.

Ashton and Beau don't want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It's getting way too hard to resist..."

For the role of Ashton, I've chosen Blake Lively.
She gives off this sweet girl next door persona... but I can see her pulling off a character who wants to get back in touch with her bad girl side. Ashton is supposed to be the kind of girl who can be the biggest sweetie, but can also be mischievous.

For the role of Beau, I've chosen Mark Salling.
Not going to lie - I'm going totally based off of him as Puck from Glee - Salling can pull of a bad boy, and he can do it convincingly. When we meet Beau, we're not supposed to know how to take him - as far as we're concerned, he's a total jerk who says raunchy things only to get a rise out of Ash. But after we give him a chance...? I think that Salling would do the role of Beau some serious justice - and he's not half bad to look at either.

And last, but certainly not least - for the role of Sawyer, I've chosen Zac Efron.
It has to be him. Come on. But if Sawyer was this pretty... I'd have such a hard time hating him while he was a dick  to Ashton... But anyway. Both Mark Salling and Zac Efron are beautiful in their own right. Where Salling is a bad boy, Efron has that charming all-American, boy next door appeal. He is totally Sawyer for me.

That's it for this Casting Call Saturday... I seem to keep casting books that have the potential for beautiful actors...
Okay, but seriously. If you've created your own CCS list, link it up below... and I'll see you next Saturday!
